Online Hero - John Chow
Online Heroes, Blogging | 1,480 ViewsWhen I got home on Friday I discovered that I had received a new comment on February’s Progress! Now normally, I am happy to receive any comment, but this comment had me jumping up and down! Now you must be thinking that this Corey guy must be just nuts. Until you understand who made the comment:
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
Good luck! - John Chow
My Retirement Project dot com has only been up and running for 2 months now and I have had a series of successes. But for one of my Online Heroes to come to my site and make a supportive comment was really uplifting for me.
John Chow dot com - The Miscellaneous Ramblings of a Dot Com Mogul, has been a major inspiration for MyRetirementProject.com. For those who are not familiar with who John Chow is, he is a fellow Canadian living in Vancouver, who’s blog has turned into an effective resource for blogging. He covers topics from earning money, blogging, website traffic, food experiences and much much more.
What first drew me to John Chow was the fact that he was successfully earning money using his blog through many sources of income. Not just relying on AdSense to earn revenue but using many sources such as Text Link Ads, Affiliate Sales, IntelliTXT and the very successful ReviewMe. In February John Earned a whopping $7011, since he started to monetize his website (started Sept. 2006) he has earned a total of $17096.27! Simply amazing! ![]()
I visit John’s site on a daily basis and I am constantly learning, entertained or inspired every time. He offers something for everyone which is probably why his blog has been such an incredible success and inspiration for individuals just like me.
John Chow is my Online Hero and he should be yours too!
Most people average 4 careers in their working lives. I have been a Cook, Hotel Clerk, Black Jack Dealer and now I am a web designer.
At 30 I realized that early retirement would be the next logical step. For me to achieve early retirement I will need to earn and save $1 million by July 2012. It is my personal goal to use online revenue streams to achieve my goal to become financially independent and allow me to live my life to the fullest.
Congratulations! To be noticed by the general populace in a positive manner is uplifting to say the least - and by one of your heroes is incredible. I can see you walking above the clouds over this. Great job!
