A Day In The Spa

Today is my girlfriends birthday and to celebrate we are going to spend the day in the luxurious Fairmont Banff Springs Willow Creek Spa.
Now a trip to this spa isn’t just a day for her. And I am not saying she deserves it, of course she does. But darn it! So do I.
Truthfully, this isn’t my first time to this spa. In my past life as a cook at The Banff Springs Hotel, I would do an odd shift in the Spa to get myself free access to the spa’s services. Trust me, an extra 8 hours a week of work was well worth the time. This place is just amazing and relaxing.
If you are ever in Banff, I highly recommend visiting the Spa yourself. If you don’t believe me read how Fairmont describes The Willow Stream Spas:
All Willow Stream Spas are sanctuaries inside Fairmont Hotels, in some of the most beautiful places in the world. Each reflects its surroundings - the desert, the mountains, the sea, or the cityscape. All offer Fairmont’s unique brand of luxury and outstanding service, coupled with authentic spa experiences and a place to escape that simply makes you feel fantastic.
We’re serious about creating authentic experiences where just being here is a joy. Our spas are relaxing, comfortable and sensorial. The layers of details, the small touches, make the difference. We help you escape your fast-forward, mad current world and bring you to a quieter place to recover, so you can dive into life again - energized.
Sounds awesome eh! If I could retire today, I would love to be able to enjoy a place like this every day till I die!
Gotta love the WordPress time stamp feature.
Most people average 4 careers in their working lives. I have been a Cook, Hotel Clerk, Black Jack Dealer and now I am a web designer.
At 30 I realized that early retirement would be the next logical step. For me to achieve early retirement I will need to earn and save $1 million by July 2012. It is my personal goal to use online revenue streams to achieve my goal to become financially independent and allow me to live my life to the fullest.
Update: Unfortunately due to capacity limits we were unable to get in on Saturday. If you are interested in going I suggest calling a head.
Instead we spent the day in Banff cruising around and enjoying the Hot Springs.
